"I dream, I test my dreams against my beliefs, I dare to take risks, and I execute my vision to make those dreams come true." -Walt Disney
Walt Disney is someone who we can all easily recognize for setting a goal, accomplishing it, and making his dreams come true. (Click here to see Walt Disney's story.) Follow his example by making your every dream come true too. It seems we sometimes forget that to achieve success you must climb mountains. To be able to play hard, we must work hard.
What is your first step to making your dreams come true? Don't forget baby steps are all it takes! Quality over quantity almost always is the best way to go! Now... go forth and get started! :)

Fear
"Don't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game." -Babe Ruth
Don't let your fear or insecurities keep you from accomplishing your goals or dreams. Just because there is a chance you may fail doesn't mean you will. Stay focused with your eyes on the prize! Life is too short not to risk failing. We learn our most important lessons when things fall apart or go wrong, our abilities and strengths are put to the test and only the strong survive. Stay strong. Be patient. From every situation take the good with you and leave the bad behind. "What doesn't kill us makes us stronger." Ever heard of anyone being too strong?

Quote of the Day
Writing ought either to be the manufacture of stories for which there is a market demand—a business as safe and commendable as making soap or breakfast foods—or it should be an art, which is always a search for something for which there is no market demand, something new and untried, where the values are intrinsic and have nothing to do with standardized values.
Willa Cather (1873-1947) |
