"Look for fun first, then let love happen."

"Look for fun first, then let love happen."

I heard this quote on a show a few days ago and really liked it. I think its a great strategy to building a good relationship. We always hear that you shouldn't look for love, just let love find you. Well in my opinion this should be the second part to that quote. We shouldn't look for love because we don't always look for it in the right places. But if you put yourself out there just to have fun then you are more laid back and more yourself. It's more productive to just "wade" into relationships rather than diving in head first. But I guess that depends on if you are ready for that type of relationship, you know, a mature one.

If you think that you are doing these things and aren't finding what it is you are looking for, maybe it's you who needs to do some evaluating. Look for patterns but don't worry yourself over it. It's the past, you are supposed to LEARN from it. What obstacles did you have to overcome and what lessons did you learn from your mistakes?

Quote of the Day
Writing ought either to be the manufacture of stories for which there is a market demand—a business as safe and commendable as making soap or breakfast foods—or it should be an art, which is always a search for something for which there is no market demand, something new and untried, where the values are intrinsic and have nothing to do with standardized values.
Willa Cather
(1873-1947)
